House Bill 145 (or BR 126 2010) was introduced on January 5, 2010 by Representative Mike Cherry for the 2010 General Assembly.

It is an act relating to retirement.

BR 126 proposes to amend KRS 18A.205 to provide that a retiree who has been reemployed in a full-time position within state government on or after September 1, 2008, shall be eligible for life insurance benefits; amend KRS 61.510 and 78.510 to provide that the retirement systems shall add one or more fiscal years to the final compensation calculation for employees participating in the Kentucky Employees Retirement System or the County Employees Retirement System on or after September 1, 2008, if the member does not have five complete fiscal years of service upon retirement; amend KRS 61.637 to make technical changes.[1]
