Born July 29, 1941, Rep. C.B. Embry (R) reprsents District 17, which covers Butler County, Grayson County, and part of Hardin County. Embry received his bachelor's degree in Geography and English from Western Kentucky University in 1963, and has also attended the University of Louisville, University of Kentucky, Duke University, and Kentucky Wesleyan. He is a retired teacher, and now has the goal to get a copy of both the U.S. Constitution and Kentucky Constitution into the hands of all high school freshmen in his district. Embry has been a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives since 2003.
