Pursuant to Kentucky Open records law section KRS 61.870(2), I am requesting copies of the following records:
A record of all payments made to outside and internal vendors by Jefferson County Public Schools and all budgetary sub-units dating from January 1, 2006 to September 30, 2008. The records should be compiled and delivered per the attached specification...

The request was received by U.S. Mail and was forwarded to the Public Information Officer of the school district, Lauren Roberts.
October 22, 2008
Chris Derry, president of the Bluegrass Institute, called the office of Lauren Roberts to inquire about the status of the request being fulfilled. The office administrator said Mrs. Roberts would contact Mr. Derry.
October 23, 2008
Mr. Derry placed another call to the aforementioned office and was told by another person that he would soon receive a letter informing him that he would receive paper copies of the budget information that is provided for the JCPS Board. Mr. Derry explained that his written request specified that he wanted electronic copies of the information. Mr. Derry was then informed that his request had been transferred to the person in charge of the MUNUS system and that the request would be filled on Monday, October 27, 2008.
