Louisville at Work

Louisville Mayor Jerry Abramson said he has created a "Louisville At Work" team consisting of Louisville Metro Government directors, private sector leaders and representatives from the offices of Governor Steve Beshear, Congressman John Yarmuth and Metro Council president David Tandy, to help him prioritize project funding. [1]

The team will be directed by former deputy mayor Rick Johnstone.

Members of the team are:

Ted Pullen and Barry Barker (transportation and infrastructure);

Tina Heavrin and Dana Jackson (social services and homelessness prevention);

Tim Barry and Bob French (public and affordable housing);

Mary Gwen Wheeler (education);

Michael Gritton and Carolyn Gatz (work force training);

Bill Summers (public protection);

Bruce Traughber (economic development and energy efficiency);
