Born June 30, 1929, Rep. Charles Siler (R) represents District 82, which covers part of Laurel County and Whitley County. Siler earned a master's degree in public relations from the University of Wisconsion-Madison and served in the United States Air Force. He is a life member and past post commander of the National Aide-de-Camp VFW. He is also a member of Post 61 (Whitley, McCreary Counties) of the Fraternal Order of Police. Siler has served in the Kentucky House of Representatives since 1995 and also before that from 1985 until 1990.
