Born April 6, 1949, Rep. Dottie Sims (D) represents District 19 which covers Edmonson County, Hart County, and Larue County. She obtained a degree in Business Management from Lindsey Wilson College. Sims is a self-employed tax consultant. She is a member of the Rotary Club, Women's Club, and Chamber of Commerce. Sims has served in the Kentucky House of Representatives since 2007. She also had a previous stint in the House from 1997 until 2004.
