Born Oct. 21, 1951, Rep. Kent Stevens (D) represents District 55, which covers Anderson County, Mercer County, and part of Spencer County. Stevens earned a bachelor's degree and master's degree from Eastern Kentucky University, as well as a Rank 1 in Education. After retiring as a school principal, he started a used car dealership in Taylorsville, Kentucky, where he currently works selling used cars. Steele has served in the Kentucky House of Representatives since 2009.
