June
- 3rd: A request was submitted to the superintendent of Adair County Public Schools for the chart of accounts, general ledger, detailed actual vs. budget summary and the most recent budget prepared for the most recent and completed accounting year in an electronic format.
- 8th: The Bluegrass Institute received a package containing paper copies of the requested information as well as an invoice for the documents. This did not fulfill the requirements as the request specified electronic copies of the information.
- 18th: The Bluegrass Institute mailed the paper copies of the information and the invoice back to the superintendent of Adair County Schools with a letter indicating that the original request was made for an electronic copy. Another copy of the official request was sent.
- 19th: An email was received in response to the Bluegrass Institute mailing the paper copies back. The email stated that the requested information was not available in an electronic format. The validity of this was questioned by BIPPS in a response on the basis that the paper copies originally sent were obviously printed from an electronic database. The financial officer of the district replied restating the information was not available electronically.
