The Fayette County Property Value Administrator (PVA) is the means in which the county government goes about assessing the values of property to generate tax revenue. The PVA operates a free website with property records available for the public to view.

Presently, the Fayette County PVA is one of 11 different administrators in the state that are being investigated. It is alleged that Renee True (retired January 1st, 2009) violated ethics rules by hiring a family member[1].

August 2009

Current PVA David O'Neill announced that his office would be selling half it's fleet of cars (from 11 to 6) in order to save tax payer money and to use the proceeds to invest in better technology. He also announced plans to publish all the expenses of the office on a website so that taxpayers can see how their money is being spent. [1]
