House Bill 47 (or BR 169 2010) was prefiled on November 4, 2009 and introduced on January 5, 2010 by Representative Rick G. Nelson for the 2010 General Assembly.

It is an act relating to school district vehicles and declaring an emergency.

BR 169 proposes to create a new section of KRS 160 to prohibit local school boards from providing a district employee the use of a district-owned or leased vehicle, except for buses and maintenance vehicles; allow a district employee to be reimbursed for mileage when using a personal vehicle for school or district business outside the school district boundaries.[1]
