Kentucky Office of Homeland Security
The role of the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security is mandated by both the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Kentucky General Assembly. Essentially, its responsibilities include: counterterrorism; community safety and security; administrative oversight of the Kentucky Intelligence Fusion Center, the Kentucky e-warrant program; and law enforcement protection program.
The Kentucky Office of Homeland Security strives to ensure our commonwealth’s communities, first responders, and families have the resources they need to be ready and prepared.
The Mission of the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security is Lead the Commonwealth's coordination and collaboration efforts with public and private preparedness partners to ensure a Ready and Prepared Kentucky.
