Riggs, Steve
Born June 8, 1959, Rep. Steve Riggs (D) represents District 31, which covers part of Jefferson County. Riggs earned a bachelor's in business administration from the University of Kentucky and works as an independent insurance agent and consultant. He is a past Flotilla Commander for the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. He is a member of the Democratic Leadership Council for the United States Navy League, and is also a member of the GI Joe Post 244, American Legion. Riggs has served in the Kentucky House of Representatives since 1991.
