DeWeese, Bob
Born Nov. 8, 1934, Rep. Bob DeWeese (R) represents District 48, which covers part of Jefferson County. He is the current minority caucus chair. DeWeese obtained a bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky and a medical degree from the University of Louisville. He is a retired general surgeon, and is a member of various medical associations, including the Jefferson County Medical Society (former president), Louisville Surgical Society, Kentucky Medical Association and American Medical Association. He is also in the Downtown Rotary Club of Louisville. He has been a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives since 1993.
