Graduation and Dropout Rates
There are three high schools in the Boone County Public System: Boone County High School, Conner High School, Larry A. Ryle High School. The chart in Figure 1 shows graduation rates for the three high schools and the average for all county schools alongside state graduation rates for a five year period. The chart in figure 2 shows dropout rates for Boone County Public School district alongside the state average dropout rates. Between 2003 and 2006, the county recorded declining performance and increasing dropout rates, but 2007 saw a decline in dropout rates. On the other hand, the state average dropout rates have remained almost constant.
