Floyd, David
Born Oct. 2, 1951, Rep. David Floyd (R) represents District 50, which covers part of Bullitt County, Nelson County, and part of Spencer County. He is the current Minority Whip. Floyd received his bachelor's degree from the Air Force Academy, and went on to serve 20 years in the United States Air Force. He received the bronze star for combat service during Operation Desert Storm and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He is a member of the Bardstown Optimist Club, the American Legion, National Rifle Association, and the Chamber of Commerce. Floyd is also a Director for the Nelson County Economic Development Agency. He has served in the Kentucky House of Representatives since 2005.
